Julian Griffiths founded Noosa Marine in 2008 after a 25 year career honing his skills at various boat yards. He learnt his craft at Norman Wright and Sons in Brisbane in the late eighties, and has followed his passion as both a sailor and shipwright ever since.
Jenny has been a part of the family business since its inception in 2009. Having a background in finance and customer service she works in the office to keep the Noosa Marine running smoothly. Jenny enjoys all that comes with owning a boat building business particularly being able to join clients on their new boats and sharing in the excitement of the launching.
Max is our leading hand after being with the company since it was formed. He completed his shipwright apprenticeship in 2013. Max has been sailing and racing boats all his life, and has built himself two Noosa 620s.
Guy completed his apprenticeship with Andrew Crick and has built various Schionning designs, he has been a part of the Noosa Marine team since 2011.
Nelson has been with Noosa Marine since 2011 and after completing his apprenticeship, is now qualified in Marine Craft Construction. Nelson has substantial experience in boat restoration.
Coming through the ranks of Youth Sail at the NYRC, Leroy completed his apprenticeship in February this year and is now qualified in Marine Craft Construction.
Tom is now working full time with us as an apprentice. Tom is the new kid on the block.
